- form with slender neck rising to a flared foliate edged rim, the body with raised lotus panels with alternating yellow and turquoise border with decoration of the ‘Eight Auspicious Symbols" (bajixiang), every other panel filled with a landscape scene with figures, including one with fishermen, one with a watery landscape scene, and one with six men gathered around under a peach tree, these panels alternating with panels of calligraphy, enclosing inscriptions of poems written in different scripts, all beneath a band of ruyi-heads, the neck decorated in iron-red with lotus scrolls, bats, auspicious symbols including the infinite knot, and two shou characters in underglaze blue, the base glazed
